The front panel includes an LED illuminated bar display to easily monitor the current level of gas leakage in the environment and the positions of contact relays. When the gas leakage in the environment reaches 10% LEL, the second red LED lights up, and the first relay is activated. The first-level relay typically triggers an alarm, often paired with a Siren (Tecnocontrol model no SE301A), and activates a ventilation fan.

When the gas leakage level in the environment reaches 20% LEL by volume, the third red LED lights up, and 30 seconds later the ALARM2 relay is activated. When the relay is activated, the fourth red LED lights up. ALARM2 is usually used for automatic Gas Cut-off function with Emergency Reset Solenoid Valves (Madas VR series Normally Open), even if the gas leakage is relieved, ALARM2 LED and its related relay continue their function without being reset. In terms of safety, the RESET button does not function in the event of gas detection.

In case of a sensor-related error or incorrect connection, the first yellow LED lights up, and the relevant FAULT relay is activated. You can remotely learn about this error condition with any equipment connected to this relay.

To test device functions, you can use the “TEST” button located on the front panel. When you press the Test button, LED indicators light up, and the FAULT and ALARM1 relays are activated. After 30 seconds, the ALARM2 relay is activated, and the fourth red LED lights up. To return to normal measurement mode, simply set this switch to the ‘RESET’ position.

ATTENTION: Your device does not require any post-installation calibration. Any user interventions in this regard will void warranty conditions.
